In laboratories, cleanrooms, isolators and other controlled environments, reliable and reproducible decontamination is essential. Lab-Innovations provides advanced solutions from Tekceleo, based on patented Micronice® ultrasonic nebulization technology.

Micronice® generates a very fine and controlled aerosol, suitable for applications using hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) and peracetic acid (PAA), among others. The technology enables decontamination processes to be carried out accurately, reproducibly and automatically. The compact nozzles are easy to integrate into existing equipment or complete new systems.

Micronice®, the technology behind the solution.

At the heart of the technology is Micronice®. A vibrating membrane transforms the liquid into a controlled, very fine aerosol. The technology operates without high pressure or heating and enables precise and reproducible nebulization.

The technology is available in different configurations and can be used in applications including:

  • Biological safety cabinets (BSCs)
  • Isolators
  • Airlocks and pass boxes
  • Gloveboxes
  • Medical and pharmaceutical equipment
  • Controlled environments and other enclosed volumes

Micronice® Nozzles

Compact technology for integrated decontamination.

Micronice® nozzles are designed for applications requiring a compact, reliable and precisely controllable nebulizer. Thanks to their compact design, the nozzles can be directly integrated into equipment.

This makes them particularly suitable for BSCs, isolators, airlocks and other small to medium-sized controlled volumes. Depending on the volume and required cycle, one or multiple nozzles can be used.

The nozzles are available with different droplet sizes, allowing the configuration to be tailored to the specific application. For decontamination applications, versions with droplet sizes of 5, 8 and 12 µm are available.

Micronice® P&S 360

For automated and continuous applications.

The P&S 360 is designed for applications requiring continuous operation and automated nebulization. The system uses an external liquid reservoir and a circulating liquid system, making it suitable for longer processes and applications where frequent refilling is not desirable.

A single electronic controller can operate multiple nozzles, allowing the system to be easily scaled for larger volumes or more complex installations. The P&S 360 can also be connected to a PLC, enabling integration into an existing automation or control system.

The P&S 360 is suitable for applications including:

  • Automated decontamination of isolators
  • BSCs and biosafety cabinets
  • Gloveboxes and pass boxes
  • Automated equipment
  • Retrofitting existing systems
  • OEM integration and new installations

For existing installations, the P&S 360 can be used to add an automated H₂O₂ decontamination function.

Micronice® CELL

Mobile bio-decontamination, whenever you need it.

For applications where a fixed installation is not required, we offer the Micronice® CELL. This is a compact, standalone solution for mobile and targeted bio-decontamination.

The Micronice CELL is designed for situations where flexibility is important and decontamination needs to be performed at different locations or on different types of equipment. Applications include laboratories, pharmaceutical environments, biotechnology and other critical environments.

The Micronice CELL provides a practical solution when an integrated system is not necessary or not possible.
